Short description | Creative Director Repeaterperformance, I am Course Leader for BA Acting and BA Performing Arts (Film, TV & Stage) at Buckinghamshire New University. I am a practice-led performance researcher / teacher with specialisms in devising for stage and screen, directing and performing intermedial theatre: including telematic performance, acting for screen, music and sound-driven performance and memory theatres. I also lead a course on European Cinema. My practice-led research interrogates issues around telematic performance and the kinds of embodiment emerging in this field. In 2014 I presented a paper, Touched By Your Presence, which interrogates the haptic potential of telematic performance, at the T@PRA conference, Royal Holloway. I recently staged Black Gold, an interactive headphone performance as part of a T@PRA Interim event: Inter-faces. |
