Short description | Clodagh Brook is Professor in Italian, Trinity College Dublin. Educated at Oxford University (D Phil) and at University College, Dublin (BA and MA), she was Reader at The University of Birmingham (Russell Group) before taking up her position at Trinity College in 2017. She is the ideator and intellectual lead of the long-running Interdisciplinary: Interart/Intermedia project (2012-present) with Profs Pieri and Mussgnug. The project has won two AHRC grants (2012-14 and 2015-2021 for which she was PI, until her move to Ireland in 2017), and run 7 workshops in Rome, New York and London, 2 summer schools in Dublin, a conference and an exhibition. She is currently working with the project leads, Prof Florian Mussgnug and Prof Giuliana Pieri to complete a manuscript for Legenda entitled Intermedia in Italy: From Futurism to Digital Convergence. |
